The Chamber’s Business Education Network seeks to narrow the workforce skills gap by better connecting employers with high school and college students, and with higher education and workforce training systems. Our goal is to ensure that businesses have ready access to highly skilled workers they want to employ, and to make certain that students from all backgrounds complete degree and certificate programs in areas where they will have meaningful employment opportunities.offers programming to develop our community’s future workforce by connecting area business with educational institutions and future employees. Projects include the Career Exploration Expo for 10th grade students, CEO in the Classroom presentations for 8th graders, Life After High School for 11th graders, the REACH initiative, HOT Jobs Cool Companies and Teacher in the Workplace.
