Ambassadors Committee

Be the welcoming face of the Chamber. Ambassadors serve as our public relations team, celebrating business milestones, supporting Chamber events, and building strong member connections. From ribbon cuttings to Network Nites and community events, Ambassadors ensure every business feels seen and supported.

Membership Committee – NEW

Help grow and strengthen the Chamber family. This committee focuses on recruiting new investors, nurturing relationships with current members, supporting retention efforts, and serving as peer mentors for new businesses. If you love connecting people to value and opportunity, this team is for you.

Agri-Business Committee

Celebrate and champion one of Winona’s most important industries. The Agri-Business Committee builds bridges between agriculture and non-agriculture business communities, promotes education and awareness, and highlights the vital role agriculture plays in our region. This team plans and coordinates beloved community events like Family Night on the Farm and Dairy Buckets, partners with schools to expand agricultural education, reconnects with agribusiness members for feedback and collaboration, and develops new opportunities to strengthen ag engagement across the community. If you’re passionate about agriculture, education, and community connection, this committee is a meaningful place to serve.

Economic Development Committee

Fuel business growth and entrepreneurship in our region. This committee leads business outreach efforts, supports the Journey of an Entrepreneur series, and connects businesses to resources that drive expansion, job creation, and long-term economic vitality.

Public Policy Committee

Give business a voice. The Public Policy Committee monitors legislative issues, gathers facts, educates members, hosts Eggs and Issues, produces advocacy communications, and ensures local, state, and federal leaders hear the priorities of Winona’s business community.

Workforce Committee

Shape the future of our talent pipeline. This team advances Synergy Academy, strengthens partnerships between education and industry, promotes talent attraction campaigns, expands career exploration opportunities, and develops strategies to retain college graduates in our region. If workforce readiness and talent retention matter to you, this committee is making real impact.

Winona Main Street Program Steering Committee

Lead downtown transformation. The Steering Committee provides vision and accountability for the Main Street Program and guides subcommittees dedicated to promotions, design, and economic vitality to ensure downtown Winona continues to grow, shine, and thrive. The Promotions Committee markets downtown through signature events, storytelling, social media, and community-building experiences that increase foot traffic and civic pride. The Design Committee enhances downtown’s physical environment through beautification, preservation, streetscape improvements, lighting, décor, and event design that strengthen walkability and visual appeal. The Economic Vitality Committee supports business retention, expansion, and entrepreneurship downtown through outreach, resources, and shop-local initiatives.

Young Professionals Committee – NEW

A brand-new opportunity designed for the next generation of leaders in our community. The Young Professionals Committee will build connection, learning, and purpose-driven engagement for emerging and mid-career professionals. Programming will include social and networking events, speed-mentoring and mentorship matching, professional development workshops, volunteer projects that give back, career-focused learning for Gen Z professionals, and leadership growth opportunities for Millennial professionals. This committee is about building relationships, growing confidence, and creating a strong sense of belonging for young talent in Winona. It’s energy, ideas, and future leadership all in one place.
